Jasper Hunt:   

            Dr. Hunt has made several contributions to the field of experiential education.  The majority of his published works focus on the topic of ethics and its place in the field of experiential education.  His doctoral research focused on Alfred North Whitehead and John Dewey.  Several of his articles also point out philosophical links between Plato, Aristotle, William James, John Dewey, and Kurt Hahn.  He has also taught a wide range of topics that include:  leadership theory, ethics in leadership, Robert E. Lee and Martin Luther King on leadership, nature and spirituality, and environmental ethics.  He has also taught for several Outward Bound Schools.

He currently teaches at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  He is also on the advisory committee for the Journal of Experiential Education and on the review board of the Journal of Adventure Education and Outdoor Learning.
